Front of House Assistant

The role

You will have a variety of responsibilities to include:

  • Organise and manage catering for all meetings including ordering required food and refreshments, setting up for catered meetings, providing a point of contact during meetings to ensure that delegates have what they need, clearing up after the meeting and resetting the room
  • Greeting visitors to the office, providing teas and coffees and any other support or assistance required
  • Setting up of meeting room in the morning and reset for the day ahead, working to firm set standard
  • Manage telephone messages that are sent to FOH team.
  • Maintain neat and tidy client area, ensuring it is stocked with refreshments as needed
  • Scan all post every day, ensuring checked by a partner and then emailed to relevant fee earner and their PA
  • Franking and taking the post to the post office each day
  • Collect DX Monday, Wednesday and Friday on a weekly basis
  • Liaise with PAs to assist with security passes for visitors and/or delegate name badges
  • Assist with coordinating deliveries and couriers both to and from the office
  • Assist and support preparation for and smooth running of internal and external events
  • Organising full staff lunches and other staff events including weekly drinks
  • Replenish stock as and when required in both staff kitchen areas and ensure they are kept clean and tidy throughout the day
  • Assisting with HR administration including but not limited to scheduling and running the Lunch and Learn programme, organisings Length of Service gifts
  • Assisting the office manager with archiving as and when required together with any other administrative support which might be required from time to time

About you

In order to be considered for this Front of House Assistant position you must have  Front of House or receptionist experience and strong IT technical ability with MS Office Skills, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.

You will have the strong communication skills and good telephone manner, excellent customer service skills and positive attitude. You will also have good organisation skills with strong attention to detail.
