Olivia is an experienced litigator specialising in public law disputes. She supports the team with knowledge management and business development

Olivia brings expertise in regulatory disputes and professional discipline, having acted as one of the principal advisers to a statutory healthcare regulator for many years. She has experience of statutory and independent Inquiries and has successfully defended numerous judicial review challenges and statutory appeals.  Her experience extends to more niche public law matters such as private prosecutions for regulatory offences, business rates relief challenges and recovering the costs of successfully objecting to a proposed Compulsory Purchase Order.

Olivia is also an experienced Privy Council agent, having handled numerous appeals from a range of jurisdictions.  She is known for her comprehensive knowledge of the procedural rules and special practices of the Privy Council and Supreme Court registry.

Before joining Sharpe Pritchard, Olivia trained and practised for over ten years at BDB Pitmans LLP.
