Project support

Some of the organisations we work with aim to drive change whilst others are trying to respond to it.

Our clients range from major organisations with ambitious plans to smaller organisations with a narrower focus.

Sharpe Pritchard consultants have practical experience leading and managing change in public, private and not-for-profit organisations coupled with deep sector knowledge in a variety of markets.

Our team support services cover every aspect of the project lifecycle.

Project management

Experienced project management is critical to delivering projects on time, within budget and scope and to a high quality. Our team can get your initiative up and running or manage critical stages of your project. We always tailor our project management so that it provides a clear and beneficial framework and avoids unnecessary bureaucracy. Our team will work alongside yours, coaching if required, so that your managers can take over when they are ready.

Project assurance

Sometimes it is critical to have an independent assessment of a project, perhaps because key stakeholders want the reassurance it provides or because a realistic and unvarnished picture provides an excellent basis for ongoing improvement work. Sharpe Strategy can provide a range of assurance and health check offerings throughout the project lifecycle.

Project launch

Getting a project off the ground can require almost superhuman efforts at times. Many projects stall for months or even years due to the challenge of launching new initiatives, and many organisations require some support at this stage. Our team can support your staff by shaping the project organisation, establish project governance, developing a plan and all the elements that go in to making a successful project.

Business case development and options appraisals

There are almost always multiple opinions about the best way to achieve a vision for change. Our consultants are skilled at evaluating the different options and teasing out the pros, cons and risks associated with each one. Critically, they are accomplished facilitators, helping to clarify and resolve stakeholder views as required. This work on options appraisals can then be progressed into business case development drawing on best practice approaches as appropriate.

Strategic analysis

Many organisations recognise the need for change but are not yet confident in the best strategy to deliver it. Our support can pick up from whatever point your thinking has reached to avoid going over old ground. Using our analytical skills, experience of transformation and deep market knowledge we can support you in finding the right strategic direction.
