Tom is an Associate in the Infrastructure team and has a broad experience of work in energy projects, project finance, subsidy control as well as advising central Government.

He specialises in energy projects and advises local authorities, private companies, and utilities on a wide array of matters.

Tom’s role:

Tom has experience working on regulated electricity projects and innovative power purchase agreements, including synthetic and sleeved arrangements. He has advised on electricity licensing issues and offtake agreements. Work has included rooftop solar, major solar farms, offshore wind, battery storage, energy from waste and anaerobic digestion.

Tom also advises central government and regulators on licensing arrangements, grant funding agreements and subsidy control issues including advising on subsidies of particular interest that are mandatorily referred to the Competition and Markets Authority.
