  • Advising a Council on a 25-year operational waste PPP project involving the delivery of waste collection, recycling & environmental services.
  • Advising a Council on on-going construction delays and termination of key construction sub-contractors and interconnected contractual issues.
  • Advising multiple waste collection and disposal authorities on their respective procurement documentation for the provision of recycling, waste collection, street cleansing, haulage and waste disposal services including advising on the impact of the Environment Act 2021 and EA guidance on the treatment of persistent organic pollutants.
  • Secondment to a Local Authority legal department, working alongside policy advisors on a range of contractual and public procurement compliance.
  • Advising a local authority on the development and re-let of PFI district heating scheme (including drafting bespoke construction, maintenance, service and community engagement agreements).
