Company secretary

Through our specialist subsidiary company Sharpe Pritchard Secretarial Services Limited we are able to provide a full range of support services for companies. These include a full company secretarial service, a registered office service and a range of advice and services to help companies ensure that they comply with their legal and regulatory obligations.

We can also provide advice and support in connection with the registration and protection of trademarks and other intellectual property rights, registration with the Information Commissioner’s Office, advice on setting up a new website (including the legal requirements as to information that needs to be published online) and other advice that may be of use when incorporating a new company.

Company secretarial services

Subscribing to our company secretarial service means that we will make the necessary returns to Companies House and maintain the company’s books and records. We will file the company’s annual return each year and file any other relevant forms, for example when new directors are added or removed or when there is a change of registered office.

We are also able to provide a legal adviser to attend board and shareholder meetings to ensure that an accurate and clear record of the meetings is kept.  As well as drafting minutes of meetings, we can also draft meeting agendas, shareholder and director resolutions, proxy voting forms, new share certificates and any other related documents.

Registered office service

If you prefer to make your own Companies House filings, we can simply act as your company’s registered office. Any official correspondence would be received at our office, which would be promptly forwarded on to an address of your choosing. In addition, we can act as the service address for directors.

Other legal services

Within the parent firm of Sharpe Pritchard we have specialist lawyers who can advise on the whole range of legal issues affecting businesses. For full details, please see our corporate and company law pages.
