Legal expertise and professional experience

Lucy has recently joined Sharpe Pritchard after beginning her career at Russell McVeagh, one of New Zealand’s leading commercial firms. There she also gained valuable in‑house experience during a secondment to a water services entity. Lucy now applies that experience to support clients navigating complex infrastructure, corporate and public‑sector matters.

Lucy’s Role

Lucy is an associate in Sharpe Pritchard’s Infrastructure and Corporate team. She has advised a wide range of public and private clients across sectors including banking, supermarkets, utilities and agribusiness. She has been heavily involved in New Zealand’s water reform programme, including in the establishment of several council‑controlled water entities.

Skills and behaviours

Lucy works closely with clients to understand their objectives and deliver advice that is both commercially grounded and easy to apply.  Her proactive approach and personable manner ensure clients feel supported throughout every stage of a matter.
