Julia is a commercial lawyer specialising in advising public sector clients on a wide range of commercial transactions, including complex competitive processes, IT and technology contracts and outsourcing arrangements.
Julia has acted as lead partner or contract manager on numerous public sector term contracts including long-term arrangements with various central and local government clients. She has particular expertise in leading teams on complex procurement programmes.
Julia has extensive experience of advising on the structure of proposed transactions and the procurement strategy, drafting contractual documentation, including commercial contracts, and of leading legal negotiations with bidders.
She advises clients in a wide range of sectors including central government, local government, emergency services, NHS Trusts and Non-Departmental Public Bodies.

Julia regularly advises on large scale and complex public procurements. These cover a wide range of legal issues including intellectual property rights and software licensing, data security, risk transfer, limits on liability and other issues which arise during the contractual process.
