Jemima is a Associate in the Energy/Infrastructure and Commercial teams specialising in energy and infrastructure projects, procurement and commercial contracts.
Jemima has experience advising on a range of energy projects. This includes regulated water, where she has experience advising on commercial delivery models in respect of both Direct Procurement for Customers (DPC) and Specified Infrastructure Projects Regulations (SIPR) projects.
She has experience working on solar PV projects and power purchase agreements, and has advised on the delivery of district heating networks, including to assist with commercial structures, zoning and procurement matters.
Jemima previously advised a major oil and gas company in relation to the continuity of its retail and supply network in New Zealand, and the establishment of product storage and transfer arrangements. She has also assisted an offshore wind developer with its submission on the government’s proposed approaches to managing feasibility activities for offshore renewable energy projects.
In her commercial practice, Jemima has worked with both public and private sector clients in relation to significant outsourcing and technology contracts, procurement matters and commercial transactions. Her experience includes advising on large scale IT procurements and assisting with contract negotiations, where she works with clients across a range of legal and commercial issues throughout the project lifecycle.
Jemima also has experience advising clients on corporate governance, procurement law, and constitutional and regulatory frameworks.
