Bianca Pereira is an Associate with broad experience advising private and regulated companies across the energy, water and climate sustainability sectors. She also has a background in financing, having previously advised on refinancings and security arrangements for financial institutions, utility providers and corporate companies.
Bianca has a particular focus on the UK energy market, having advised on power purchase agreements and complex electricity supply agreements. Within the water sector, Bianca has worked closely with regulated water companies on large-scale commercial and infrastructure matters. This include advising on the negotiations of bulk supply agreements and supporting on the delivery of major Direct Procurement for Customers (DPC) projects.
Bianca has also developed significant experience in international climate sustainability projects. She has advised on implementation agreements and project management and services agreements for climate-focused initiatives. She has provided close support to in-house legal teams and commercial teams on transactions.
Her experience also extends to the public sector where she has advised government-owned entities on corporate governance and has spent a substantial period on secondment at a national transport company. She has worked closely with senior stakeholders on governance processes and governance structures.
