Sharpe Pritchard’s actions have directly contributed to SDGs focusing on clean water and sanitation, affordable and clean energy, decent work and economic growth, sustainable cities and communities, responsible consumption and production, climate action, and life on land.
Key Contributions:
- SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation): Sharpe Pritchard has achieved 100 per cent water treatment compliance, directly contributing to Target 6.3 of improving water quality.
- SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy): The firm has met 100 per cent of its energy demands with renewable energy, aligning with Target 7.2.
- SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth): By reducing carbon emissions per employee, Sharpe Pritchard has made strides towards Target 8.4.
- SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities): The firm contributes to Targets 11.4 and 11.6 by supporting The Eden Project and ensuring 100 cent waste recycling and composting.
- SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production): Aligning with Targets 12.5 and 12.6, Sharpe Pritchard has achieved 100 per cent waste recycling and composting and is transparent in their sustainability reporting.
- SDG 13 (Climate Action): Through continued support to The Eden Project, the firm contributes to Target 13.3, focusing on climate change education and awareness.
- SDG 15 (Life on Land): The firm has reduced paper usage and ensured 26 per cent of its paper is FSC/PEFC certified, contributing to Target 15.2.
