Two of the team at London public law specialist, Sharpe Pritchard, have been shortlisted for the prestigious People in Law Awards in recognition of their contributions to the firm’s efforts to promote employee engagement.
Chief Operating Officer, Nadia Biles Davies has been shortlisted in the Senior HR Ally category, while HR Manager, Karen Senior, has been shortlisted in the Rising Star Category.
The Senior HR Ally category celebrates the contribution of senior members of the organisation to promoting engagement and HR best practice, while the Rising Star Category celebrates the contribution of an individual in their first two years in legal HR.
The rigorous judging process for the awards has already seen Sharpe Pritchard submit detailed written nominations for N
adia and Karen, setting out their contribution to people at the firm.
The pair have been instrumental in a range of changes in the last two years designed to further improve recruitment, retention and career progression at the firm, as well as promoting employee wellbeing.
Nadia said: “We want to have the best people, performing at their best at all levels of the firm to deliver the best possible service to our clients. Engagement and wellbeing are vital to achieving those goals.
“I am delighted that our efforts have been recognised by the judges.”
Karen added: “Sharpe Pritchard has a long-standing ethos of looking after its team. What we have implemented in the last two years are structures, processes and initiatives to ensure this ethos is always reflected in practice.

The winners of the People in Law Awards will be announced at an online ceremony on Thursday 10 June 2021.
