William Rose, a Partner at Sharpe Pritchard LLP, has been instructed to act for Luton Borough Council in a judicial review claim.

Sharpe Pritchard issued a judicial review claim on behalf of Luton Borough Council regarding Central Bedfordshire Council’s decision on 9th January 2020 to grant itself planning permission for the construction of a link road between the M1 and the A6 between M1 J11A and the A6 Barton Road.

The issues in the challenge include the advice given by the officers, the reports underpinning the grant of the planning permission and the statement made by Central Bedfordshire Council in accordance with Regulation 30 of the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations 2017.
