One of London’s leading firms of public law specialists has bolstered its practice with two new appointments.
Bhavini Nakeshree, a Corporate and Commercial solicitor, and Richard Small, a Commercial Property lawyer, have joined Sharpe Pritchard.
Bhavini joins the firm’s Projects team as an Associate Solicitor, bringing with her a wealth of experience gained over several years practising Corporate and Commercial law at a London firm, having qualified at a Midlands-based firm. She specialises in matters including corporate governance, the drafting of terms and conditions and procurement.
Richard joins the firm as a New Zealand qualified lawyer, having qualified and practised at a firm in Wellington. He specialises in matters including commercial property acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant cases, as well as general property law.
Bhavini said: “Sharpe Pritchard has a strong reputation for providing legal advice to the public sector and others.
“I am already enjoying the opportunity to use my skills developed in a general commercial law setting to add value for our clients in the public sector.”
Richard said: “I am pleased to be able to bring a distinctive perspective from my career in New Zealand to Sharpe Pritchard. The firm is well-known for its commercial property offering and I am looking forward to delivering the excellent level of service that our clients are used to.”
Alastair Lewis, Senior Partner at Sharpe Pritchard, said: “Bhavini and Richard both bring with them distinctive skill-sets that I know our clients will value.
“All of us here at Sharpe Pritchard are delighted to welcome them to the team.”
As part of its recent growth, the firm moved to new premises at Elm Yard, 13-16 Elm Street, London WC1X 0BJ at the end of last year, enabling clients and staff to benefit from a range of new facilities.
