Evaluation and award – Procurement webinar series

In this session, Tim Farr and Beatrice Wood will and set out the key rules applicable to Evaluation, Moderation and Award in the context of a Procurement process. Offering practical guidance and suggesting best practices, Tim and Beatrice will help delegates navigate the difficult questions that often emerge throughout each of these stages and reflect on recent caselaw as examples of ‘what not to do’. The course will include:

PART 1 – Why the Evaluator role is important, Regulation 18 Principles and Tips for Evaluators;

PART 2 – Moderation and Key Issues and Best Practices;

PART 3 – Abandoning a procurement, Award Process, Content of Award (“Standstill”) Letters and Standstill Period.

Learning outcome

Delegates will develop an understanding of how they should approach each stage mentioned above in order to minimise the legal risk of a procurement challenge. There will be time at the end of the presentation for questions.
