Marketing and Events Assistant

Sharpe Pritchard are looking for a Marketing and Events Assistant. You will be joining a dynamic, successful and friendly professional services firm where you can really make your mark. You will support the marketing manager in the day-to-day delivery of projects to achieve the marketing goals and objectives of the firm.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Support the delivery of marketing plans and tactics, such as website content and email marketing
  • Assist in planning and running of online and in-person conferences and events to budget
  • Promote the business through relevant channels, such as digital and events
  • Update and develop the annual marketing and BD calendar, running associated communications and activities
  • Assist in the coordination and preparation of directory and awards submissions and follow-up communications
  • Assist in creating marketing materials
  • Update the website and prepare internal communications for new joiners, leavers and promotions
  • Source, obtain and manage firm merchandise
  • Assist with internal and external communications to promote the work we are doing with our clients
  • Take ownership of the marketing inbox
  • Support HR with recruitment marketing and help to position the firm as an employer of choice
  • Assist in maintaining brand consistency and building brand awareness
  • Maintain and update client marketing lists to ensure information held is accurate and in accordance with GDPR
  • Carry out client and market research as required

About you

Essential Requirements

  • 1-2 years marketing experience
  • Knowledge of social media including LinkedIn
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Excellence in Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Powerpoint

Highly Desirable

  • Experience within professional services, ideally legal
  • Marketing degree or other relevant discipline
