PPP / PFI
We have one of the UK’s largest, busiest and dedicated PPP and PFI practices, advising the public sector on a wide range of complex and innovative projects. We are an accredited supplier to Catalist’s Lot 7 - Full Commercial and we have a wide public sector client base.
We have extensive experience of advising on a range of different types of agreements and strategies from straightforward bipartite agreements to framework agreements, framework contracts, central purchasing arrangements and major PFI/PPP procurements. The fact that we have advised on so many different forms of contract and procurements means we can add considerable experience based value in this area.
PPP and PFI sectors in which we have particular expertise and experience include: accommodation, corporate and transactional services, education and BSF, highways, street lighting, leisure, major frameworks, regeneration, shared services, social care and waste.

Advising a county council on its £730 million waste PFI project for the provision of a new mechanical biological treatment (MBT) and IVC facility.
Advising a Unitary Authority on a major strategic services partnering contract for the delivery of a wide range of transactional and corporate services.
Acting for local authorities and governors on a number of schools PPPs and Building Schools for the Future (BSF) projects.
Acting for local authorities (waste disposal and collection authorities and unitaries) on a number of waste PFI and PPP projects.
