- We are renowned for our litigation and dispute resolution practice and act for public bodies in all courts and tribunals. We are regularly in the courts on judicial reviews, planning appeals and, injunctions and have an enviable success rate in all these areas.
- We advise across a broad range of fields, with a particular focus on commercial and construction disputes as well as landlord and tenant work.
- We are recognised specialists in handling Supreme Court appeals and in the Privy Council, High Court procurement challenges and in the Election Court.
- We have extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution including arbitration, mediation and adjudication. We are regularly instructed in all manner of construction disputes and
- We also act in prosecutions in the magistrates’ court.
We have traditionally assisted public and local authorities in both commencing and defending judicial reviews, statutory reviews and appeals.

Recent work includes:-
- On behalf of a London Borough – successfully resisting a procurement challenge in the High Court by a civil engineering contractor.
- A major case in the Court of Appeal establishing principles applicable to costs protection in environmental judicial review cases.
- Successfully defending a significant adjudication referral brought against an authority under an NEC contract.
