Amy specialises in advising on public sector procurements, ICT outsourcing contracts, other commercial agreements and data protection matters.

Amy has experience advising clients on multiple ICT procurements, particularly for cloud-based hosting, software and support using various CCS frameworks, including G Cloud and DAS (Data Application and Solutions).

Amy has also assisted with clients’ internal GDPR compliance programmes, from negotiating contract variations with existing suppliers to drafting and advising on data protection clauses, internal DP policies, data sharing agreements, privacy notices and website terms and conditions.

Amy qualified at Sharpe Pritchard and during her time as a trainee, spent 3 months on secondment at UCLH NHS Foundation Trust assisting the Commercial and Contract Management Team in respect of the Trust’s high value / high risk contracts. Amy assisted with the drafting and variation of various commercial agreements such as SLAs and consultancy contracts for different service heads.

Amy is currently on secondment to Kent & Essex Police’s joint procurement team and provides support on a range of below and above threshold procurements and other contract matters.

Case highlights

  • Advising a school company on its procurement of a Professional Service Automation (PSA) system using the open procedure, including advising on the procurement strategy and compliance with the PCR 2015 and preparing the full document suite including a bespoke set of terms and conditions.
  • Advising a London borough council on its procurement of a customer platform using the G Cloud 11 framework. Amy provided particular input in developing the Order Form and assisting with negotiations with the supplier.
